Gregory Gronbacher, Ph.D.

Gregory Gronbacher, Ph.D. is a certified narrative therapist with a passion for helping others thrive and find wholeness.

He earned his B.A. in philosophy, politics, and theology at Franciscan University in Ohio, his masters in philosophy (M.Phil.) at the International Academy of Philosophy in Liechtenstein, and completed his doctoral work in ethics, practical philosophy, and philosophy of the person (Ph.D.) at the Milltown Institute in conjunction with Trinity College, Dublin, Ireland.

Gregory’s philosophical training focused on personalism and the philosophy of the person, with an emphasis on existentialism and narrative theory.

Gregory’s therapeutic practice is a blend of personalist and narrative based methods. He is certified in Philosophical Therapy (Logic-Based Therapy) and Narrative Therapy.

Originally from New York City, Gregory has called the Grand Rapids area home since 1995.
